The ECHO Ion XL saltwater grade rod offers the best value to performance ratio across the board at just $169.  Offered in both 6wt through 10wt 9'0" (690 - 1090) applications, and 5wt through 8wt 10'0" (5100 - 8100).  The Ion XL has you covered from rainbow trout, to high sticking for steelhead or salmon, and we happen to love the Ion XL 5wt 10' - 7wt 10' for single hand spey applications due to it's excellent lifting power.  Like the ECHO SR lineup, the Ion XL is characterized by a smooth buttery action allowing the angler to feel the rod load, with plenty of gas off the tip.
