The men's Clearwater rubber sole wading boot is built with a full synthetic leather upper that provides comfort and durability without excessive seams. The boot is protected by a scratch rubber toe, vamp, and heel counter for added durability, and a heavy-duty rubber toe bumper protects the foot in tough wading conditions. An integrated EVA foam footbed offers all-day comfort and a wider fit. A phylon midsole and ESS plate provide stability, and excellent stud retention. The scratch rubber toe cap protects the reinforced toe box from abrasion and impacts. The Orvis PRO Waders are built for the professional angler whether by trade or simply by passion who will go to whatever extreme necessary to find fish. Built with an Active Fit, the PRO Waders use an extremely durable proprietary four-layer CORDURA® fabric shell in the upper and five-layer CORDURA fabric shell in the lower legs for the best-in-class abrasion and puncture resistance.

Low-profile seam construction and a gusseted crotch enhance movement and seam strength. Modern anatomically correct neoprene booties have less bulk with a true “sock” feel and are more comfortable inside wading boots, while the streamlined PU-reinforced mesh gravel guard covers the boot tightly and completely eliminates drag and water collection.

Convenience features include an external storage pocket with YKK AquaGuard® water-resistant zipper to keep essentials dry and prevent loss. Rubberized tabs on suspenders and front pocket daisy chain for tool docking, offer multiple locations for essentials and eliminate the chance of puncturing waders or losing tools. Fly patch on front pocket for quick changes and drying. Large four-way stretch power mesh interior pocket expands to fit larger items yet stays out of the way when empty. Built with exclusive 100% CORDURA® fabric with four layers in the upper and five layers in the lower, the addition of a TIZIP® Masterseal waterproof zipper tested for more than 200 days, provides a remarkable level of combined convenience and performance. In the upper are split fleece-lined handwarmer pockets, two external storage pockets with YKK AquaGuard® coated zippers, and split Hypalon daisy chain for tool docking. Building on the vaunted PRO Wading Boot platform, the lace-up PRO Hybrid version now includes a rubber/felt sole option in another exclusive collaboration with Michelin®. The new design features Michelin Hybrid Outdoor Extreme technology on the outer edge and under-toe zones for reliable, wet rubber, out-of-water traction and durability. Inside that rubber you’ll find grippy, long-lasting felt that grabs well on slick rocks. This felt zone also allows for the buildout of an optional custom stud pattern for even more traction. The upper is made of quick-drying Clarino® microfiber that provides a better strength-to-weight ratio than traditional leather. A cast PU upper eliminates seams while providing a zoned cage for added stability, grip, and extreme abrasion resistance without the added bulk. Our midsole is even made from Bloom® Rise algae-based sustainable foam, a high-comfort cushioning feature that actually helps clean 30 gallons of water per pair. There is no stitching on the toe to eliminate potential seam failure, and the boot is double stitched on the heel to lock down the structure. The boot is designed with a higher cut to provide ankle support and lined with closed-cell foam that absorbs less moisture and reduces drying time. Scratch rubber at the toe cap and heel enhance abrasion resistance, an oversized heel pull facilitates easier on-and-off, and tightly woven laces improve abrasion resistance and reduce broken laces.
